Children at Worship . . .

Junior Worship is held at the same time as the 10am Sung Eucharist each Sunday, except in school holidays. Children come into the service with their parents and leave at the conclusion of the first hymn. After a lesson and activities in the Rutherford room, they rejoin the service after the sermon. The children are supervised by at least two adults at all times and all children and youth leaders in the parish are trained in accordance with the Diocesan Policy and Training Procedures.

Children's Carol and Crib Service . . .

The children from our Junior Worship group, their friends and neighbours enjoyed a dramatic presentation of the Nativity. The Christmas Story of the Nativity was read by two children whilst the story was acted out and supported by the singing of carols and the lighting of Christingles. Many of the children brought along their own baby Jesus to be blessed. This was a very meaningful part of the service for all the families.

Our Christingle service for 2007 will be on 24 December at 5.30pm in the Church. The service lasts for about 30 minutes. Everybody is welcome to come along dressed as their favourite Christmas character. Enquiries to Clare Tomasov and Joy Letts. 9882 4851
